ResMed Pixi™ Pediatric Headgear

This is the standard headgear for the ResMed Pixi™ Pediatric CPAP mask . This sleep apnea interface is designed to fit children 2 years and older. The headgear for the Pixi offers the ease to remove the child's mask quickly during sleep or in the event of an emergency. The quick-release latch retains the headgear settings.

There are three points of adjustment on the headgear straps - at the top, side and bottom - providing a wide range of adjustments to cater to children of various ages. The headgear is designed to sit away from the child's eyes and ears to reduce irritation and obstruction and provide a clear line of site for both children and caregivers. Pixi™ headgear is designed to be adjusted primarily by an adult. Adjustment points are kept out of view of the child to keep the child from tampering with the headgear. A quick-release latch and an emergency latch are included on the headgear to ensure that the headgear can be quickly and easily removed should the need arise.

Recommended Replacement Schedule

• Cushion: Every 1-3 Months (or as needed)
• Headgear: Every 3-6 Months (or as needed)
• Complete Mask: Every 9-12 Months (or as needed)
• Tube Hose: Every 1-3 Months (or as needed)
